I always take off my sunglasses when I talk to somebody face-to-face. Very rarely I'll have been wearing them for so long (if I've been outside all day on a sunny day, for example), that I forget I'm wearing them. In that case, I may not remember to…

Uh... I'm confused. Doesn't withholding a byline hurt the reporter? Why would the paper care about that? Not trying to be snotty, I honestly don't get this strike. \

I think it's up to her to make the sacrifice, here. If she can't get a driver's license because her religion keeps her from removing her veil for the picture, well then, no driving for her. My religion precludes the use of (evil) money. The gover…

This is my understanding, which fits with all this thread's speculations: The AAC encoder which is built-in to QT 6.2 can enocde at varying "qualities." Let's say, ranging from "low" to "high." This encoder setting is separate from the encoder's …

I don't know where I read this, but, apparently, human flesh does not taste good at all.

I chose "I have access to the store and have chosen not to use it. $0" as the closest to my situation. The wording is a bit off for me. Basically, I plan to purchase, I just haven't gotten around to it yet (it's very new still). "Chosen not to use …

Chiat-Day is ripping Apple off. Those commercials and their concept were obviously slapped-together in a hurry. They didn't even try to come up with a new angle that would sell the service. It's the switch campaign again, except... um... hand the pe…

Perhaps check your Mac's AirPort Card connection. I had that once (AirPort just disappeared). I opened up my iBook, reseated the card (it didn't appear to be loose), and all was well again. Hasn't happened again since then.
