Then who would be TSMC’s client in the first half of 2023???? Intel has already been ruled out because it delayed its chips from TSMC. It’s not like Apple developed a M2 Max for the MacBooks and created another M2 Max for the desktops.

The problem with this analysis is that it misses that Ive was great at Apple because he had Jobs own vision as a counter weight, they fed on each other ideas. After Jobs there was no one to fill that void.
