I have the pioneer on my 800 iMac. They all have dvd-r and rw capabilities. I don't know about the others, but, the pioneer will only accept dvd-r and dvd-rw and NOT the dvd+r and dvd+rw. My neighbor was irate when he thought he couldn't use …
