Why don't they just skip ahead to the proper generation number and call it the iPhone 9? It'll have an A9 chip after all...

I still think that the iPhone and iPad models should be produced like this: iPhone S - 4 inches (small) iPhone M - 4.7 inches (medium) iPhone L - 5.5 inches (large) iPad S - 7.9 inches (small) iPad M - 9.7 inches (medium) iPad L - 12.9 inches (l…

Why don't Apple just do three sizes each year? For example: iPhone 6S - Small (4 inches) iPhone 6M - Medium (4.7 inches) iPhone 6L - Large (5.5 inches)

I work in a local council in the UK and Office is installed right across the board for about 1,000 employees. There is no way that we would move to another program like Google Docs or OpenOffice. Our IT department would allow it, probably for secur…

I actually prefer the look and feel of the 5c to the 5s, which has the better functionality. My hope is that next year, there will be one model (the 6) which incorporates elements of both, making the 5c and 5s the discounted options.

I really don't like those cases. I think with the next iPhone that they should only have the one model, but in black or white and with 10 different coloured cases, similar to the iPad Smart Case (black, white, silver, red, orange, yellow, green, bl…

Really well-written article. Much more balanced than Daniel Eran Dilger.

What about Grokr? Did Apple ever buy them? That would probably be a more useful acquisition.

But what about Tesla Motors?

I just wish they would take inspiration from the full range of colours from the iPod nano 4th and 5th generations and make it nine, or maybe ten: black, white, silver, pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red.

This is exactly what I hoped and thought Apple would do. If anything, this could go some way to improving the actual data in Apple Maps. I'd love if you could somehow zoom in seamlessly from the 3D Flyover View into the Street View and then tie it …

I seem to remember seeing something about this elsewhere, but I cannot for the life of me remember where exactly. A very interesting concept though. If anyone sees the mock-ups somewhere, please link to them.

Don't think this has been mentioned yet, but in January 2011, C3 Technologies (who Apple later acquired) were already working on their own street view: http://www.brightsideofnews.com/news/2011/1/17/from-sweden-next-gen2c-nsa-like-3d-maps-th…
