It looks like Apple will do ok without them. Square do ok without Apple (but with Apple in their space)? Probably less so.

It would be so shockingly out of character for Apple to not iteratively improve a device that I think it essentially is assumed that v2 will improve the hardware and software. When I look at the difference between the vain glory demo and the origin…

On a similar note (and I'm guessing the answer's no) is there any way to permanently remove a purchased item from your iTunes account? Say I don't want songs I got via the Free Song of the Week if I decided they were lame after 'purchasing' and dow…

I'm always curious on the factors that push a site towards 'separate mobile and desktop' or towards a single responsive design. It does look very nice and well done.

Apple must be pretty confident that what they have is significant and will be well received. I keep thinking of Eddy Cue's statement that he felt it was the best product pipeline in 25 years. For what Apple's accomplished, that's saying something.…

I have a feeling even this structure has been iteratively prototyped and exhaustively tested for fitness of the purpose it will serve at the event. It's so nice to see people who care.

Does anyone know whether it's already happened that people have begun standing in line for Apple products before they're even announced? I wouldn't be surprised if it has, but I also suspect that once it happens once it'll happen regularly.

Right on cue. Kind of expect these now - all part of the customary preliminaries for the Apple events.

I wonder if maybe there'll be a band you wear all the time with no UI - just a small battery and sensors that record data, and then you clip on a square iPod nano that interfaces with it and presents the UI as just another app (or your iOS device in…

Vaguely wondering if it's based on Microsoft's hyperlapse:
