There is no southern Ireland. Only the northern half of it exists. The southern half of the northern half of Ireland also does not exist, so really, it's only the northern 25% of it. Locals refer to it as "northern northern Ireland" or simply "Ir…

If Facebook has a revenue stream and is a social media company, then there clearly is a social media market. Just because there is a 3rd party business model (FB, users, advertisers), doesn't mean there is any less of a social media market than ther…

Love the pictures of the hands-on area (currently behind the huge columnar wall in the space below the lobby; that wall won't be there when they exit the theater). The stone is beautiful as well.

There are some really interesting things in the building (including bathtubs, a giant disappearing wall, and - as can be seen in the photos - three sections of seating that can be lowered on hydraulics). Apple submitted floor plans with all this in…

If the value of a currency fluctuates more than a moderate amount it would be kind of nutty not to adjust to the change.

It's about the same as telling someone they have to stop jabbing themselves with a fork. Having coded an iOS app prior to ARC, I remember how painful it was and how careful you had to be.

Only slightly off topic: noticed they referenced Studio C in the pic (below the time on the TV on the wall). Their Hunger Games parody made me lol

I have to imagine that Apple's working on peer-to-peer money transfers internally. Only I expect they'll use the same care they did with Apple Pay to preserve privacy and security for the end users - it would only make sense for them to do so.
