I dunno...Macwhispers provided info on the 20" display, iMac updates and the Xserve RAID. But they blew it with the iPod prediction.

Why don't we talk about future politics instead? That would be most interesting...

Hmmmm...my Beige G3 might be worth enough to be sold as an antique instead of a computer any day now. Selling an ancient and historical artifact to get a 970? I think so!

That is exactly what I meant when I said I wanted an Xserve-esque Powermac enclosure...and by the way, snoopy, cruise isn't spelled cruse...

The swing-door has to be dampened. One of the guys at the Apple store said that one of the doors has been opened and it dropped, smashing the GPU, etc. I would like it to have the kind of movement that a car trunk has.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes! Apple needs to widen its spectrum of products and services. How about a professional edition of .Mac? That would work extremely well. And hardware. Imagine being able to work anywhere in your house with a dai…

CNN Newscast, with footage of the expo building: "The Gates Guard is, as we speak, bombing the Macworld Expo building in a hope to destroy a computer that could destroy the Wintel world in a single clock cycle. But the superfast dual processor 97…

They said that their iPod prediction was their first- and last-release date prediction. Hmmmmm...

Iit would be nice to have "970" applied to the 970 case like the G3 was applied to the Blue&White G3. It would look nice.

Looks like July...but I'll be insanely anxious and at my wit's end by then Macwhispers has an OEM prediction on the Mobo. I thought Macwhispers had stopped that product release-prediction-by-OEM method at the iPod debacle, but I guess that they h…

I don't know about the Sony/Apple alliance...the Clie is barely compatible. But on the other hand, the Ericsson is the ONLY cell phone compatible with iSync.
-
Yeah, backwards compatibility would rock...

It would steal a lot from Apple, I must admit...it would be like selling a less than $400 Apple clone. Not much Apple hardware would be purchased.
-
That would be nice...and it would be 64-bit, I think.

This is what I am seeing: The 970 gets released in the Powermac. (July) The 970 is instituted in the xServe (November) Then, finally, the 970 goes into the Powerbook(December) My Xserve and Powerbook release dates might be in reverse, bu…

Yes, yes...what does the third button do in Unix anyway? Is it the same thing as pressing the Command key and clicking? You know, so you can noncontiguously select text, etc? Hmmmm.

Dunno...but the AL keyboard do feel better than anything previous. I'm not a keyboard geek.
-
I like the feel of typing on the AL Book...it has a good solid feel to it, but it isn't too resistant.

What will Apple call the 2 button mouse? Not the Pro mouse, because that name is already taken by the little, one buttoned, and overpriced little piece-of-shitt affair that we are living through now.

I bet that it is in the works right now...
