The router is set not to broadcast it's ID so the computer doesn't see it when it's set to automatic. I want to be able to set it manually, to always connect to the same network with a wep key. Why isn't this made more easy in the interface? It work…

Is this a hardware or a software issue? I have an all-in-one beige G3 with built in speakers. It used to be, when I plugged in headphones, the built in speakers turned off, but since I've installed OSX.2 when I plug in the head pphones the speakers …

I would like the ipod bluetooth enabled so that i can use my phone as a remote. If my ipod is in my pack or something, I always have my phone in my front pocket. Or if the pod is in its dock for my AV receiver, i could use my cell as a remote from t…

I've looked into the os x setup, and it isn't the easiest way to go for me. I have a g3 All-in-one. and eventhough it it rev b and claims to support slave drives, it doesn't. Not well at least. anyway, I don't have a good way of backing up all the …

I'm a highschool student taking a 200 level college chemistry lab at the local university. I'm on a bit of a budget. The prof. requires that our lab writeups are done in mathcad. I have os 9.2.2 and os x

so when you say "noooooo" you're saying it wont matter if it's on the slave? I have a rev. b, so it should be able to handle a slave. I wanna keep it separate cuz I'm low on space on my main HD. OS x isn't going to be my main OS so i don't want …

I would bet that the sound signal is being recorded in through the remote plug. That port is designed to take signals in. The minijack only puts sound out, so plugging a mic in there wouldn't do anything, the only reason the belkin has it is to play…

cool, thanks for the info. Another question, how useful are the dock and the wired remote?

I've had the same mouse pad since 1992 when I got my LC II. It still works great for everything I've tried.

Ya, that's the reason i posted this question. I was wondering if there is some way around it. I know people were able to flash mac ipods for use with pcs. Is there someway to make new ipods work on older macs?

the pc133 runs fine, so far. What is a program that i can use to test the integrity of the data flowing through? 640 megs is nice, but it doesn't help osx on this 233 G3. Oh well. back to 9. What program will read the CPU temp in osx? thanks.
