The previous post said the A6 wont be out until Q2 next year. So how is the ipad3 coming out this fall unless the only change is screen resolution?

Intel has too much money and resources in R&D to ever let ARM chips catch up unless Apple invested billions--which they could, but that is not really an Apple-type business.

How long until apple decides that html5 uses too much battery and drops it in favor of an apple proprietary language that can't be used to make web apps.

Even if somehow you get the performance of a good point and shoot--not possible today, how many consumers want a camera with no zoom? Even a small zoom will require a lot of thickness. People take a lot of phone camera pictures because it is with…

I wonder if this includes Nook Color sales? They sold about 3 million in the first quarter of 2011

Why not just have an in app link to the Kindle store that says "Buy for $10" and an in app purchase option tha says "Buy for $13". How many people would choose to pay 30% more for the convenience of buying "in app".

This seems incredibly cumbersome compared to swiping or even pushing a button. Not to mention the added cost of a second screen. e-ink on one side and ios on the other would be great though.

People who are appalled at jailbreakers are the same people who 3 months ago said that iPhone notifications were fine and that adding any information on the lock screen would make the iPhone into a horrible mess that only geeks (read: closet android…

4x the resolution may take more power than even the a5 can handle well too.

These are great changes, but the thing I wanted most---text reflow after pinch zoom in teh browser---is not included.

Now I can use up my monthly data even faster. Really, what is the point if the main reason for having 4G --video streaming, for example -- is made prohibitively expensive by tiered data plans?

Pentile displays are certainly not as sharp at the same resolution, but at 4x the resolution they might be significantly sharper--although the colors will still not be as accurate because of there are more green subpixels than blue and red. Also, t…

Samsung no longer uses a pentile matrix on it's newest phones, but that doesn't effect this pentile screen in any way.

Of course it stemmed the growth of Android. 100 million people have access to a very popular phone they didn't have before. The question should be, why only a 3% drop? I bet it will be much more than 3% when all those people waiting for the iPhon…
