You know that hassle they went through with the iPad3. "Nieu iPad." The smart thing would be to re-brand the iPhone 5 as the iPad Nano.

I worry about the security a government can provide when they demonstrate publicly how crooked they get every single page in a Top Secret file.

I don't get it. On viewing a Daisey clip way back before NPR, way back before Real Time, I saw a carpet bagger who was quite obviously screwing the truth while picking Apple because it brought him attention. Secondarily, his own problems are showing…

Apple wants 5% tax on repatriated funds. State wants 35% on repatriated funds. If you add 15% to Apple and subtract 15% from State, how about 20% repatriation as a compromise? Or just keep the money abroad for advertising.

...they'll be admitting that the name of the software, "Windows," was in direct response to the appearance of windows in the first Macintosh OS. Huh.

So, if this is somehow Truth, then Apple will have thinned the iPad 1 down to the iPad 2 thickness so they could have some sort of brainstorm and decide to thicken it up again? What part of this reasoning sounds distinctly non-Apple and complete …

Here's what needs to happen in this biopic. The actual guy needs to be the one who plays himself. Not literally, of course, but visually. Motion capture, expression capture and computer texture mapping all need to be used to flesh out the charact…

The iPad typically covers about 20° in its long dimension when held at a reasonable 12 inch (300mm) close viewing distance. Seldom would it need to be closer. Human vision tops out at around 100 lines per degree. That's 50 line pairs of black alt…

After an artist dies, his work raises in value. Here we see that at work. One wonders if the presenters have the actual signed releases that permit their making money from this. Or were those/was that with the original lost tape? You know.…

Gates is forever condemned to existing in a world filled with creativity, song, dance, photography, cinematography, acting, graphics, grace, emotion, love and the exquisite rhythms of art, while counting his money, attending to technicalities, and k…

First we had Too Big To Fail. Now Taiwan thinks there should be a new category: Too Smart To Patent? Can anybody see, any more, how Apple completely and utterly changed the entire LOOK of virtually everything you carry around all day? And the…

Next, people at Apple, in an attempt to show the world how well they can innovate after Steve, will introduce the Siri Automotive Driving Interface Speech Technology (SADIST) in which "all you have to do is" speak driving commands and the car will i…

I can't think of another tech leader or sub-presidential politician who would have received this strong of a response. This book/eBook is a 600 page epitaph.

You just don't Get It: This thing is so cool, they're going to call it the iPad 2S.

Yes, it has five lenses and is f/2.4. But what is its focal length and what is its image chip size/format specs? The iPhone 4 was said to be a 1/3.2'' chip, but that's not a diagonal measure, but a throwback to the size glass tube an image patch …

When I preordered the iP4 15 months ago, it arrived a day ahead of schedule. Same thing happened when the iPad 2 went to pre-order.

I want the iPad cover that changes its rolled up color to be more compatible with the image on-screen. Like in the photo. Kewel.

Perhaps Steve's greatest design is not a product for sale, but the organization he has built. There is no Microsoftian Law Of Nature that says you must always depend on the out-front charismatic leader. Apple has its stars and Steve's has be…

Poor Mr. Balmer. He so much wants to be seen as a genius of technology. And he is so not.
