Planning on buying two Nests - up and down. But my family and I are home 90% of the time except when we are not. Usually an impromptu dinner or outing gets us all out. Or we travel for a couple weeks. How well does Nest handle a schedule whe…

Well I personally despise the new forum look and behavior. I use my iPad almost exclusively to read them.

Last I checked, I can do that simply by making a disk image of a DVD. I've never done anything besides make a disc image of a DVD and play it for say an airplane trip and then delete it and that worked for me. Granted I don't do it often, but last o…

They already have CS:3 Universal. They have shown it off at a few shows. Its just not finished yet. But I do agree, they should try their hand at a public beta ala Quark and MS. It would help Apple and frankly help Adobe get some sales they may not …

Well of course you'd buy Windows - nobody is talking about not doing that. The question is how to run Windows in a window itself, like Virtual PC and VMWare do now. My guess is that VMWare will be out first since they have a product that runs on …

Do you know which VNC viewer I can use on the PC? I've tried RealVNC and it gets an "unknown message type".

No, they've done that quite a few times. More so in the 10.1.x release timeframe. I think 10.1.5 contained some major Carbon changes with fonts. And then there was journaling added in 10.2.6 or something like that.

There are many software packages that do something similar. www.mindfortress.com is another one that does a bit more actually.

I've used both and I have to say I FAR prefer the floating computer instead of the lampstand. What I mean by that is the iMac G5 floats above your desk and feels far more refined and usable than the iMac G4 does. But of course, its just my opini…

Its not a charge. Here is how it works (yes I run a webstore and get people who don't understand how credit cards work all the time - its frustrating): Step 1: Retail/Ecommerce store sends CC info to processor. Step 2: Processor gets autho…
