  • If I record a show on tv which I rightfully have the right to do for personal use and fast-forward through the commercials I am technically not supporting the actors by watching the advertising, but I have the right to use my fast-forward button in …
  • Oh, yeah. I will be a sales rep and apparently I will not get an employee discount until I have worked there for 6-months, however I still get a student discount which I hear is a bigger discount than the emplo…
  • I will be an Apple employee. I start Monday, so I will post when I find out. Should be a cool job though. Looks like I will be getting health insurance, and a bunch of other goodies for employees; Their benefi…
  • Yep. You can go screw around. Just yesterday I was there for about 3-hours when my cable service went down. I brought my TiBook in and surfed for a while. When asked "can I help you" I simply replied no thanks, I am just dinkin' around on the intern…
  • Well, I'm not a fine wine yet, yet I still wine about my age.
  • No luck with the powerbook. I have a Powermac 7300 running MacOSX with a firewire card and it mounts fine in it, just not in the powerbook. Looks like I am stuck either getting a new logic board (apple says that's what will need to be replaced since…
  • Do you have Toast? If so it should have come with a program called Discus. It works great for CD covers and it should do the trick. If you don't have Toast you can probably download Discus at Cnet.com
  • As for the Deck, I would recommend the Pioneer P440, or 4400, and the IP bus adaptor, that allows you to hook an auxilary item into it. The head unit is $179, and the adaptor is $59. I have had just about every brand of Head unit, and have found tha…

  • That still doesn't explain it. I drew out the same shapes in cad and then copied the exact shapes and still get the same results. I just don't get it. I guess I will have to run it by my old college math teacher.

  • [quote]Originally posted by _ alliance _: how much u get that vette for?? we're lookin into a Z06, but will prolly get the new M3... either way, the C5 model vette is the only american car that i consider "good enough" for me and my racing. …
  • I just picked up this baby last week. I wanted a 2002 but the bank wouldn't approve that, so I got this which was $8,000 cheaper than a 2002 would have been. And this is what I have been driving daily for about a year. I still have both. The…
