I have seen and opened the Dells with that design, and it sucks! It is a pain in the butt to open and close. It would be easier just to take a screw out the back and open the case the traditional way.

I want one in my car, not in my home though. Just think of having every cd you own in your car but not. I think I would take the screen out and tweak it into my dash though. $1499 does seem a bit excessive though.
