I'm picking either an iPhone Air or Apple TV (with screen). Or maybe a trade-in program - bring in your windows box and get a big discount on an iMac. All those traded in windows boxes get sent to the third world as free hackintoshes. /sarcasm

Compaing to the KIN is a valid exercise. It was a Microsoft phone project (just like WP7) and Microsoft managed to muck up not just the phone and it's software, but also screwed up the carrier relationship, and even faile dbig time at the marketing.…

It's also possible that apple could subsidise the iPhone at some point by signing up users to a 2 year contract whereby they pay apple a monthly fee (say $30) to get $30 credit each month to use in iTunes store/app store/bookstore. So sell the …

If apple doesn't come to an agreement with verizon, then them following happens: Apple signs agreements with sprint & t-mobile, whom sell theiPhone 4 at a subsidized rate on a typical 2 year contract. Apple also sells an unsubsidized ful…

Thanks for the experience recall Achiever. It's pretty similar to what I assumed it was like. OTA updates seem like a good idea in theory (especially for security updates that address critical flaws), but it only takes one bad update to compl…

What's the point of this article? If it was a comparison of all android phone devices vs iPhones - I would see a point. Besides, with a pushed OTA carrier update, shouldn't that mean all droids are automatically updated regardless of the users…

Well jail broken ipads can handle multitasking just fine - so I'm pretty sure if independent developers can do it easily enough, then apple isn't going to have any problem whatsoever enabling it, and enabling it well!

I've said this before in another post, but applies here also: Shuffle and nano merged into the new 3 x 3 device. New ipod touch "mini" will be the device that falls into the current nanos price point. iPod touch mini will have much smaller…

I can't see them keeping last years iPod touch model around in the low end either - they will have to at least add a camera to it, or more likely the 8 gb low end model will simply be the new mini version.

I think the new 3cm x 3cm touch screen device will be announced as a "merging" of the nano and shuffle lines - leaving plenty of room for the iPod touch "mini" I think the classic gets killed too.

The small one is definitely the new shuffle. I'm picking the iPod Nano gets killed and replaced with an iPod touch mini: same res screen as current iPod touch, but slightly smaller 3" size at higher pixel density. The border around screen will be…
