I knew I had read something about this somewhere. www.hardmac.com BTW: Hardmac is a really good site to find this kind of stuff. Quick precision: it does work. Saves everybody the hassle of actually opening the link...

I've never wished so much for MacRumors to be right... Crossing fingers !

If I get this right, it would mean that while I am holding the mouse I should make a circular movement to scroll through pages ? That doesn't seem right ergonomically. A scroll wheel is easy to use because the movement is in the axe of the finger. …

I never really thought about this implication. If Apple indeed would make the next version of OS X 64-bit and not all Apple computers have 64-bit processors, then they will have two OS's to support and develop. I guess they'd better stick with 64-bi…

It does indeed look like a good resource. Too bad my grandfather doesn't understand that much English. I wonder if I could translate all that stuff & in the process adapt it for Panther...

I think a lot of people buy a Windoze box for gaming. And even though I hate saying it, it sometimes is tempting. But then I think about ease of use and walk away. I'm now thinking if buying a G5 just for playing WoW when it's released. Some people…

Does anyone have a cache version of this pic ? It was indeed removed apparently, damn it.

I hope they upgrade the middle Powermac G5 to at least dual 2.2 GHz and a Radeon 9800 XT. That would be lovely, I've been saving for that one. And fieldor (my not so little brother) wouldn't be happy if I didn't get it.

Making a CSHB with one PCI slot isn't interessting for anyone. The difference in costs between making it have one or three slots is minimal. I remember seeing a how-to on adding the slot itself to a motherboard from an old 9600, where that PCI plast…

For Jaguar you should probably be looking for this iTunes CD-RW Helper

Just an idea, but it might help you. Saw it at the English version of macbidouille English version of MacBidouille Using iTunes 4.1 with an unsupported writer Hope it helps

Maybe it's obvious, but the computer that has the printer connected should be up & running when you try to print from the other Mac

With all the tricks you showed him, I'm not sure we'll see thegelding again this year... Wonder if he's still dancing though ?!

If Programmer had been my teacher for Operating Systems at the university, I would probably have passed the exam... I should have known about AI earlier ;-)

[trying not to look stupid] Does this apply to the cd's that came with the iMac as I thought they are 'part of the package' and should remain with the computer. [/trying not to look stupid, but probably failing miserably] PS: Have there been up…

Which OS are you using ? And what would you like to be able to do ?

The whole license thing makes me wonder: I always buy the latest MacOS version for my iMac. Is it legal for me to give my old version to my grandfather for use on his iBook ? And: can I use this scheme with the install CD's that came with my iMac …
