On occasion ad servers have been hacked to load spyware, or part of an advertising agreement alows for insertion of "marketing data tracking" to be installed on machines. PM Jambo.

After talking with GoDaddy it's going to take a while. Being the 4th of July weekend doesn't help either. Hopefully I'll have everything transferred over within the week, but it could take longer.

One thing to keep in mind is that Safari has issues with animated gifs. Often times animated smilies in the reply box will peg a Mac user's CPU. IIRC, pithhelmet also disables animated gifs, which might be part of why things seem so sluggish. …
