  • Rice had the deeper team. Besides, Rice was due - its first national championship in any sport. You're talking about a school of 2500 weenies competing in Division I - tough sledding. 8) Congratulations to both teams.

  • Rice all the way, although the uniforms look rather dated. It'd be their first national championship of any kind, except perhaps for the unofficial Bong Olympics in 1975.
