I am concerned about the size of the update. It's too small. Given all of the bugs in Tiger, it's way too small. I really love Tiger, and want to move to it on my full-time work machines, but it is simply way to buggy. I was hoping for an enor…

Yes, Tiger is great and worth the upgrade price. With that said, the comments about it being rushed at the end are clearly correct. There are so many bugs in the current release it's not even funny. My hope is that Apple will have had 1.5-2 mo…

I am sad to read about iWork since I really want to support Apple and finally kick MS to the curb once and for all. The problem with iWork is that it is simply not good. Not good at all. There are a thousand things Apple needs to do better wit…

Hopefully this will give me the ability to have items sync based on individuals in the family. I don't need my wife's contacts. she should able to sync hers, I should be able to sync mine.

Due to my goofing around and installing heaven knows what, I am doing a clean install. It's nice to get a clean slate. Plus, it is an opportunity to download the latest versions of applications and install all of the patches. Yes, it will tak…

Just keeping my fingers crossed that there is not a repeat of 10.3.0. Hell, I'll take that. Just give us Tiger.

April 12th. In about about 30 minutes. (It's 5:14 PST right now)

Nice catch, indeed. The 15th is a Friday. This would be an odd day for a release given it is a low press readership day.

For me, I will install Tiger the moment I get it day one. I'm just not worried about it. I'll back up my data before hand, and I have multiple Macs, so if Tiger is a train wreck, I will have lost a day but not much more. But there has been an …

Holy Shit. That is awesome news. I cannot wait for Tiger. I've said it a hundred times on the Mac boards, and I'll say it again. I simply can't wait.

I never really noticed how slow window re-sizing is in Panther. I guess I have low standards. But I just tried it, and boy is it slow. But I can't wait for Tiger. I hear everything is sped up and the new functionality looks amazing.

I travel the world with my Apple gear. Unless you do something stupid, you'll be fine in my opinion. Just be sure you have the right plugs.

So true, and so sad, about Spymac. It used to be a great little community.

This is one of the coolest ideas I have ever seen. It'll be a destination.

California is an at-will employment state. Unless this guy is a protected class, he is going to have a hell of a time seeing a dime.

Intuit in general has fallen off the quality wagon. Luckily Quicken comes free with new machines or I would never upgrade. But the last 3 versions has been so bad with bugs, it seems like there is nowhere to turn. Sadly on the Mac, there are n…

icalshare.com free, and awesome. There are also others. Do a google search if you want to explore other options.

Makes me think back to the day I first met Steve--albeit briefly--and Merrill Lynch put out a sell rating on the stock. January 7, 2003. Bought stock on that day, at 11 bucks a share. I couldn't be happier right now. Thanks Apple, and congratu…
