I've noticed the same thing with Pages. Spell check works in some paragraphs, and does not in others. Weird!

Definitely, and the Not Junk button for mail that lands in Junk folder but isn't. But, it doesn't seem to have much of an effect. Even when I send mail to myself, it ends up in the Junk folder. Gets a little annoying after a while.

Thanks - I tried that and it fixed the problem.

Clamshell iBook - 10.2.8 works perfectly. Mail ran slower than normal at first, but now it's fine. Many features seem to run faster overall.

I have a 192 MB running a clamshell iBook and it run great. Fast enough, never ever crashes, and it was inexpensive to buy the addition memory.

I'm running Office X on a clamshell ibook (366 MHz) with 196 MB RAM and OX 10.2.6 and it has never caused me any difficulties. Runs fast and smoothly. Still, hoping for a new Apple replacement so I can be Microsoft free.
