Why not have one forward facing lens, but on the back have a small LCD, digital camera sized, for purposes of viewing a location for augmented reality purposes ?

Check out the Bluetake BT500 - 2 button and scroll wheel, takes 2 x AAA non rechargeable batteries. Smaller than any other mouse, fits my large, male hand perfectly under the fingers rather than under the palm.

I use the freeware app called Clutter - you can do a search on Version Tracker. Works like a charm.

In fact, the extension npc.kext was the precise culprit. Deleting it solves the problem, and does not seem to alter the functionality of anything else other than Norton's Privacy Control. Thanks for all the help and interest.

Norton's Internet Security was the culprit. Uninstalled it and now everything works. Hope this helps someone else.
