it's been a long time since I have contacted @appleinsider regarding an issue I was facing (still am) with dolby atmos on the Apple TV 4k. Specifically, I own a Pioneer Lx - 85 atmos capable receiver but I can't make it work with Apple TV. This issue is discussed in several AV forums and many consumers have the same problem. Up until NOW: NO ANSWER FROM PIONEER - NO ANSWER FROM APPLE. In the mean time our expensive equipment sits on the shelve and we can exploit its capabilities.  Ps. The issue was also raised by @appleinsider but still with no real remedy OR RESPONSE from the manufacturers
