Files fixed, now on to the carousel menu.
Showing ALL ever-opened thumbnails there is a silly artefact of the era where they needed to create impression of a larger RAM (like, look ma, everything fits).
These days, it is a Total Recall-like exposé of things you done in far past, and a betrayal of the WYSIWYG principle. -
Iffy leak claims iPadOS 19 could gain macOS menu bar

Not wanting to share access to everything on your device is the exact reason why people want multiple user logins.
Unfortunately this feature is also available on their own (underage people) devices, so they can escape ScreenTime limitations.
I did let Apple know, they did not fix this. Case at L2 was quietly closed, no info to me nor confirmation asked. -
Inside Apple TV 4K -- the best addition to your TV set
Here is a good tip for folks who want to see full colors.
Switch away from the default YCbCr color compressor that TVs tend to use into RGB High or RGB Low that monitors use.
Even if this costs you resolution. I have a Bravia and it’s upscaler does admirable job making blurays and and 1080 content look like 4k. But nothing can bring back the color once it is lost. Nothing except the non-default RGB modes, that is.
You are welcome. -
