If these are over the ear phones that have noise cancellation with premium sound quality features such as adaptive eq and air play 2 support, which would allow you to stream lossless audio...  Then I could see them costing $399 and people standing in line to buy them.  But the key would be having sound quality and comfort that are exceptional.

Jobs discovered something a long time ago that the “experts” can’t figure out.  That is if you make a quality product that people love, they will buy it.  I hope that Apple never loses that lesson. I think slowing down the features in the next IOS release and squashing bugs is the right move.  I hope Apple continues to follow its own course and takes the vision of its founder to the next level.
