    In California, bond is almost always 10% of bail, so the bail should be $5 million. The $500k is a deadweight loss to Levoff, but it spares him putting up $5 million, though he probably will have had to put up collateral too.

    My iPad 2 has gotten to the point where it's not really usable anymore. I don't know if the hardware has decayed or the software has just gotten more demanding or both, but even with older apps it seems a lot slower than it used to. Sometimes I wonder if I should've stayed on an older version of iOS instead of upgrading.

    I was wondering about this. Trackpads keep getting bigger, and I find myself more and more often having problems from brushing them accidentally. I generally use a mouse when I'm doing any serious work, but still.
