Is there a difference between the camera mode you are describing and what Huawei phones have done for years?
The reason I ask is that when they announced the feature I automatically assumed it would be different but what you describe is practically identical to how Huawei phones have operated since the P9. I thought it was already possible on Apple's dual lens phones.
Or is not so much what it does as how it does it?

Why does the EU need Apple at all?
Apple and taxes. Is the ability to decide how much to make available for taxation and then pay 0.005% on that amount beneficial for the EU?
If Apple collapsed tomorrow the EU wouldn't bat an eyelid. People would still have phones, computers etc and I can guarantee you the EU would actually receive more in taxation than it currently does.
Apple's sales would see a significant hit without the EU. I think Apple would rather not lose that revenue.

This is an important part of the set-up and has the potential to have a noticeable impact on user experience. Apple is still playing catch-up here but it is a big improvement.payeco said:

I think their point (at least as I take it) is that current LTE speeds are already quiet good (as fast or faster than the “233% faster” Xs speeds the article was quoting. This would seem to indicate that tower congestion and signal quality is going to play a much bigger roll than the phone. The other question it raises is whether there was an issue with the iPhone X they used for the test. If an iPhone X is capable of downloading at over 100 Mbps,and the iPhone Xs they used could get 73 Mbps speeds, why couldn’t their iPhone X?
