HAHAHAHAH this is sooo not click bate. It's a rather sound warning that there is no life guard on duty so swim at your own risk. You saw the sign and if you went swimming anyway and had fun then good for you but if you got swept out to sea and were never seen or herd from again then well... you saw the sign. I actually installed the first beta of IOS 7 years ago as i was so pumped about the new UI. you'll never what happened... My phone was so unstable i actually had to stop using it. obviously your milage may vary but it does happen :-p

I understand the budget conscious approach of the current iPhone SE and in the future if it ends up just being a spec bump and a possible glass back that would be fine. My real question is if there is any indication that Apple would consider a flagship phone in the rough dimensions specified in this article as part of a major iPhone roll out. There is strong evidence that a larger version of the X is coming the later this year to fill the gap in the market currently held by the 8+ but is there any indication that the creation of a smaller flagship device might possibly be in the cards. Not to replace the SE but to provide an option and or step for users of smaller phones. Apple currently provides three options for users wanting a 4.7 or 5.5 inch phone with the 6s, 7 and 8 phones. Why not additional options for the 4 inch form factor? Yeah i know the dimensions are different given the X design but you get the idea :-p

Of corse I want the HomePod to do well however I think it's kind of a good thing for apple that it's not doing well. I say that regarding that it will show them if they want to improve sails they'll need to improve the software. The HomePod has exceptional sound quality and the other technical aspects blow the competition away. However Siri is just extremely poor. It's just not a seamless experience and given that the home pod is supposed to use Siri as the primary interface it needs allot of improvement. I hope they'll focus on Siri and improve it across the board so the end to end experience can be more unified.

Is there a market reason why the line up (leaving out the iPhone X) has two phone sizes? The success of the iPhone SE demonstrates that there is a need for a capable 4 inch phone. Why not make the next generation of iPhone come in (using the old sizing) 4.0, 4.7 and 5.5. Maybe Apple has market data to the contrary but this just seems like a good idea.

My big issue is that when they launched it the statement was "some people just like smaller phones". Not "only poor people like smaller phones". I cant palm a basket ball and damn it i want to touch all four corners of my phone with one hand. Make a god damn 4" version of a flagship and i'll happily buy one!
