I think your question is spot on. I wanted to purchase some of these but got the WeMo instead because they work with everything. I have several HomePods and now several of Echo Dots thanks to Amazon and Best Buy adding free ones to most purchases. Wish there was an answer somewhere. 

I see women mostly put their iPhones in a back pocket. I always ask why but they just say that’s wear it fits. Front pockets in womens’ clothes are either too shallow or none existent. I always think that they will eventually bend the phone or severally damage it especially if the clothes are tight or they have some butt. 

Men dont have that problem with pants pockets. My guess is the same as yours. He plans to sue, wants the phone for evidence and wants a new phone to carry on while he waits for his payday. 

When things like this this end up in the hands of another person ie a judge, he just might get something. 

Apple. The most sued company on the planet. 

I feel that Apple chips have so much overhead and power to facilitate Apple As A Service for future growth of the company. Even if users retain the phones longer or the phones are sold second hand or at a discount a year or two later, buyers can be assured that the phones  will still work and provide those specific Apple features for several more years. The more people with Apple products, the bigger and faster Apple Services grows. The advanced hardware capabilities provide better user experience. 

Apple sells the whole package specifically tuned to the hardware which works seamlessly together with the software and services. Qualcomm just sells engines. The specs are there but the real world performance depends on the cellphone manufacturers. 

Just my humble opinion. 

I was watching this presentation and I was so shocked when Phil came on. I was ecstatic because I was thinking hey he might say something about the iPad Pro coming. Lol. Wishful thinking I know. I’m not a creator but I love the technology they displayed. I also like that they are working so close together.

Sir that was the icing on the cake for me and how sweet it is. I had the exact same thought and jumped for joy when it was announced. The watch has so much untapped potential and we are starting to tap some of that. Lol. 

IMHO Apple Watch stole the show. That’s what I’m preordering!
