  • TCL, LG under pressure from customers about AirPlay 2 compatibility

AirPlay is a competitive advantage for Samsung TV over LG.

Tizen is a negative.  LG’s WebOS is a positive.

    Visio having AirPlay is compelling.

I didn’t know about the TCL/Roku.  That’s an interesting option at the lower end, and would probably make a good bedroom TV.

If you have an Apple TV, AirPlay on Samsung isn't an advantage over LG for me. Personally, I chose LG OLED's over Samsung due to Dolby Vision support.

  • How to keep your iPhone from repeatedly dropping Wi-Fi network connections

I have the opposite problem. When I am away from home the iPhone connects to some WiFi node I used in the past which would normally be great but for some reason that node isn’t actually transferring data. So I have to disconnect from WiFi and force cellular.
In your case, you should do the forget this network option.

The allegations surrounding R Kelly have been going in for more than a decade...long before she even recorded the song with him. He was even tried for it.

She didn’t care. She wanted the money and fame.

That's the thing that gets me. It wasn't a decade, it's been several decades. I remember a lot of discussion in the late '90s about his behavior. The show "The Boondocks" even did an episode all about it in 2005. (https://www.indiewire.com/2019/01/the-boondocks-r-kelly-episode-abuse-trial-1202034304/) There is no way she didn't know before she did their first duet in, I believe it was, 2012. As Huey said in that episode "Ain't you people got any standards?"
Lady GaGa is such a hypocrite. In 1994, R Kelly married Aaliyah, who was 15 at the time. He was 27. The marriage ended up being annulled since Aaliyah lied on the marriage certificate about her age. There is a huge list of accusations so for sure Lady GaGa knew about his troubled past.

  • AT&T lying to customers by showing '5G E' on devices, under fire from other carriers

    I hope someone sues AT&T.
    Typical attitude these days.
You say that like this would be a frivolous lawsuit.   So I guess you support the ability of any company to completely lie to their customers?   I suppose you think there should be no regulations whatsoever, including safety and health, and companies should do whatever they want and the "market" should control their success.

IMO, if the FTC won't go after them, then someone should sue them.
Completely agree. What AT&T is doing is completely unacceptable and they should be punished for it.

  • You can now use Apple's Siri & HomeKit to control the $8000 Numi 2.0 'intelligent toilet'

This toilet is definitely catered to the Japanese consumers. In Japan's 5 star hotel, the moment you approach the toilet, the cover opens by itself. In some public toilet and urinal, digital white noise turns on (like those zen alarm clock) the moment you start doing your business so next door neighbor can't hear you.
First time I visited Japan, I was playing with the buttons on the toilet in my hotel since I had never seen anything like that before. I ended up getting water in the face.
