  • Hands on: How to use the ECG app on Apple Watch

I’m just curious why it won’t measure for people under 22 years old?
No real clue, but I'll guess that it's either:
    • The scope of data against which the device was validated / certified only went down to patients of age ~22, and/or
    • The heart isn't considered "fully developed" until ~22 (which would be why data is / has not been collected for this age range)
Edit: would love to have a doctor tell me I'm right or completely out to lunch!
The reason it's not intended for use by someone younger than 21 is due to the FDA. The FDA considers someone up to 21 years old an adolescent. Apple has to put that on there for FDA clearance/approval reasons.

  • Review: 'Apple Pencil 2' is a huge step forward but still not perfect

So your issues with the pencil are that it is expensive and falls off the iPad too easily?

    “Far from perfect”??
No, the problems are it falls off, is more expensive, doesn't include tips in the box, cases can't cover the side, the end discolors easily, and gestures are limited. That amounts to far from perfect.
That's not true about cases. I have the new Otterbox 360 and it covers the side with the Apple Pencil 2 attached.

  • Apple iPhone XS awarded smartphone camera of the year, Google Pixel 3 runner-up

I’d trust DP Review 1,000x more than all the other “tests” you see online. I’ve been buying gear based on their recommendations (and the experience of their users) almost since they started.
Completely agree. I always head over to DP Review when I'm researching camera gear to buy.

If memory serves, didn't Android beat Apple to the 4G market space as well?  I know there was to me a significant difference in performance between 3G & 4G, but I don't really hear anyone complaining about how slow their phones access data any longer.  I'm not saying that 5G isn't going to be awesome just that 1st to market isn't necessary a good thing.  Does anyone even remember Sprint WiMax 4G network?
Android did release 4G phones before the iPhone, but it's kind of pointless since at the time, only a few markets had 4G. I imagine Apple will take the same route by supporting 5G when its widely available.
