How to preorder iPhone X with Apple's battle-tested Apple Store app
mobird said:How do you refresh the Apple Store app? Do you have to quit the app or will the app automatically refresh when the ability to order goes live? I have my selection favorited. Here is what my screen currently looks like. Thanks. -
How to preorder iPhone X with Apple's battle-tested Apple Store app
seeker143 said:I'm a little concerned about the cost difference I see between the Apple and AT&T sites...AT&T says I can upgrade my 6S to a 64GB X for $33/month. Cheapest I see using the Apple Store app on my current 6S is $41/month...
Why the difference? Can't figure that out...

Tip: Convert physical Blu-ray and DVD discs to iTunes with Vudu and Movies Anywhere

"Why do you I need to allow the app GPS access to my device? Why do I need to add billing information? We take fraudulent activity seriously, so we've implemented a number of security measures to ensure none takes place. Asking that users enable GPS helps ensure Mobile Disc to Digital is used from a customers' billing address on their own collections. We have also set a cap of 100 discs that can be converted per account per year via mobile."

I was wondering how well the upscaling works on an older movie, such as Aliens which was filmed in 1979. Did they remaster HD content from film cellulose or was it simply upscaled digitally? Can anyone attest to a much better picture/sound quality?
Alien is one of my favorites. -
Supreme Court asks Trump administration for thoughts on App Store pricing lawsuit
seneca72 said:I thought the US had separation of powers such that Law and Executive were independent of each other. If so why is the Supreme Court asking the opinion of the President as to whether it should hear a case? Surely it either should or shouldn't based on a matter of law?
Viewed from this side of the pond it looks a little odd.
