Apple backs down on CSAM features, postpones launch
When the response is "We wish that this had come out a little more clearly for everyone because we feel very positive and strongly about what we're doing, and we can see that it's been widely misunderstood," you see that they just don't get it.It is not how the message was delivered, it was the message itself. -
HomePod is sold out, but isn't dead yet - Apple's 'end of life' explained
JWSC said:This article misses the boat a bit because most of us know that Apple will not discontinue support for the HomePod anytime soon. What is disconcerting is Apple’s decision to cancel it does leave one with the impression that Apple is rudderless with regard to product development and support. Apple does not appear to have a “product champion” assigned as an owner to each of their products. That’s bad news when the VP of hardware engineer in clearly has his eye elsewhere.
That kind of mistrust does not bode well for buying an Apple Car. Why in the hell would I EVER consider buying a car from a company I think my abandon it in 5 years? I wouldn't!

Apple One will manage users with multiple Apple IDs, but questions remain

The problem I run into is regarding the requirement for the same credit card on a Family Share account. I was considering adding my adult daughter and my in-laws to the Family Share, but everyone wants the freedom to manage their own payments for the music, books, and apps they want separately because they don't want me paying for everything (aren't they nice?), and dealing with reimbursement is a bother. Now that the Apple One bundles are coming, I'll have to think a little more about this.
Anyone else have experience with that? -

If you updated your HomePod to 13.2, do not reset it or remove it from the Home app
MacPro said:Is there a way to tell if the HomePods updated or not? I haven't looked but I am guessing there is a way to see the HomePods' install version on the iPhone or Mac somewhere?
