  • How to make the most of your Mac's trackpad

    Another BetterTouchTool fan here. It's the first app I install when I get a new Mac. BTT is the most regularly updated and feature added, and the developer is one of the most responsive, of any app I've ever used, and I've been using it for over a decade.

    My main BTT setup is 4 finger tap to open a link in a new tab, and 3 finger down and up swipe to move back and forth between tabs in Safari. This setup is so easy and second nature to me after all this time that I have trouble navigating a browser without it. And I'm barely scratching the surface of what BTT can do.

    BTT is well worth the three times the $10 I paid 6 or so years ago (it was in a long beta before that). Highly recommended!

    This is the thing. Why should Apple be forced to make an inferior, less secure product just so it's compatible with Android, or any other app or OS? They shouldn't.

    As the article says this whole case against Apple seems poorly thought out, and not based on facts nor law, but jealously and envy. It appears to me the DOJ has seen the EU dubiously scrape a couple billion off of Apple, and it wants some of those sweet. sweet Apple profits too.

    What a waste of time, resources, and tax payer money.

    This is just next step in Apple review noise. Usually they just "review" an entry level Mac or first gen Apple product, then criticize it for not being able to edit 8K RAW video while simultaneously rendering a 50GB file and coding in real time while having 118 tabs open in Safari.
