So which is it, the Pro Max or the Ultra? Will they change the name? Would make sense if they did given it will likely have features not found in the Pro, such as 8 GB of RAM, periscope lens, perhaps a 2 TB storage option, and who knows what else.

I am a simple consumer, I will be purchasing one on day one. It is about half the cost of the original Macintosh (inflation adjusted) and I purchased that as well. I believe most are underestimating the demand this spatial computer will generate with the general public. Many "average Joe's" I know plan on buying one. Credit cards and payment plans are a wonderful thing.

I use Siri throughout the day and find it indispensable. My home is linked with Siri enabled smart devices. There is no way Apple would abandon it. I can see them augmenting it with generative AI features, which would likely dovetail with the launch of Vision Pro.

From what earlier rumors suggest even though the port will be USB-C it will be governed by Apple electronics such that maximum charging and data exchange will only be possible with Apple or other MFi approved cables. So, in a sense it is still an Apple proprietary connector.

Prediction: The 2024 developers conference will focus on a major AI announcement implemented across the ecosystem. Particular emphasis will be on integration  into Apple Vision Pro. Particular emphasis will be on integration into VisionOS to allow the consumer to create 3-D environments and applications.
