I wonder if Apple will replace the M2 with an M3 in the launch version of Apple Vision Pro? It would make sense if they did, but perhaps there are engineering or manufacturing challenges of which I am unaware.

Rules for disposing of batteries are fine. But, handicapping devices by mandating these changes is wrong. Perhaps we will find all devices with Vision Pro external batteries mandated in the future.

I am no developer nor do I have a specialized use for the product. I just want to be an early adopter of breakthrough technology. It is fun. I will go wherever it is initially sold to purchase one on day one of launch. I am not alone. I know of at least six people who will similarly purchase early. Apple will be sold out immediately, and the demand will far out strip supply.

This device at $2999.00 is less than half the price of the 128K original Macintosh (adjusted for inflation). A couple of years from now we won’t know how we could live without it. I will be an early adopter, and I am not a developer. This will sell out almost immediately and will do much better than even Apple predicts.

You don't blow away people with an anti-social $3000 device requiring a battery belt.

And no one will by an expensive mobile phone without a keyboard.
