    Though not a popular opinion, I believe the iPad line up makes a great deal of sense. It supplies enough feature changes from model to model to differentiate the products, yet enough overlap to make folks think they are getting real value for their purchase decision. 

    The M1 and M2 iPads are the more robust multitasking devices that are fully StageManger capable. The A13, A14, and A15 (mini) are media consumption/communication devices. The new iPad will also, with its landscape camera, likely be the device of choice for any iPad/HomePod camera connected unit.

    I like the stainless steel, however, since the ultra was the same price, I decided to give it a try this time around. If I don’t like it, I do have 14 days to return it and get the stainless steel. I like some of the new features, such as enhanced, GPS, and the programmable button. We will see, it arrives next week.

    The most interesting claim is that the iPhone 14 (not Pro) will not have a price increase, but move in an opposite direction. The single biggest innovation Apple could do would be to slide the 6.1 inch phone into the $699 price slot and price the 6.7 inch at $799. They might be able to pull it off since there is minimal change to the base iPhone 14. By keeping the A15 and much the same cameras, they may be able to pull it off. A $799 6.7 inch iPhone would be very popular.

    The difference is this a supply chain analyst. He is tracking the production of the parts needed for a January launch. While off on a few things, he has a good track record.
