Despite Q2 sales dip, Apple's Macs, iPad and iPhone continue to outperform the industry
The iPhone will be a worthy upgrade. Most people don't care about OLED screens or being waterproof or Galaxy phones would sell in iPhone numbers. The iPhone is the best overall package and will continue to be. Apple has grown immensely since then and is still well run. Their 4 product grid was great for the time and they needed to streamline to prepare to grow. Now there are watches, iPads, MacBooks, MacBook Airs, MacBook Pros, Mac Pros (no update in almost 3 years), Mac Minis, Spaceship campus, electric cars, iPhones, Apple TV, OS X, iTunes, Beats... Just look back to 1995 to see what's wrong with this picture.

Alphabet again briefly overtakes Apple as America's most valuable company
I think it is great time to buy if you have the means. With the profits Apple makes, the stock will go up. All of the doom and gloom is overblown as always. Not matching the most profitable quarter in history is no cause for alarm.

Google delays support for Android tech mimicking Apple's 3D Touch
The way everyone here talks about 3D Touch, being a worthless gimmick makes me wonder why Google would bother including it in Android at all. -
Apple debunks rumors that it will stop selling iTunes downloads
Downloads aren't going away. I bet Apple will have the buy option baked into a future version of Apple Music.
