  • Apple now selling 1M USB-C Apple Watch charging cable

    davgreg said:
For the price of the iPad Pro it should be able to charge an Apple Watch (and an iPhone) wirelessly.
No, it shouldn't. Because there's no logical place to put that functionality on the product. Just use a charger.

  • Sleep tracking may be coming to Apple Watch soon

Ok. Cool. But when do you charge your watch? I wear it all day and charge overnight.
With my Series 4 I consistently find that about 75 minutes a day is more than enough charging time. I'm able to do this easily during time that I'm sitting at my desk doing computer stuff.

  • Apple's 'By Innovation Only' new iPhone event is on Sept. 10

This article should be amended to include the likelihood that a new set of WATCH Series 5 models will also be introduced at this event. New faster processor, longer lasting battery, New titanium and ceramic enclosures.
No, it shouldn't, since that is just a rumor and any Watch refresh is just as likely to be introduced at a separate event in October. Which has already been covered well by this site.

i am curious. What are his contributions after leaving Apple decades ago? Giving advices to Apple?
Also, why does he continually refer to Apple as “we”?  Is he currently connected to the company in any way, official or not?
And also, why does his beard look pink?
He has every right to say "we". More right than anyone who is currently alive. Dismount from your high horse and you'll be able to see that more clearly.

  • Apple rolls out 'Dickinson' trailer, coming soon to Apple TV+

Well, I’ve yet to see trailers for Foundation and for all mankind, but TBH I fear what a company like Apple will do to them.
So far though this is risking being a vanity project that will be uncompetitive in a crowded market. Will that matter if it is tied with hardware purchases? Standalone it could Ping!
It better have an impressive back catalogue from real content providers. You know, the people that traditionally bought Mac hardware and were its most loyal customers.
Just some comments: 1) Apple isn't in charge of any of these series. So it's not really even a question of what "Apple will do to them". It's a question of what the creatives in charge will do. 2) There's no evidence that there will be ANY back catalog at all. That's not what they are going for. At least according to what we know so far. 3) What does "a vanity project" even mean, really? It's either successful, or it's not.
