  • Apple reportedly squeezing 'iPhone 7' parts suppliers for better pricing

Shouldn't every business squeeze every supplier, every time?
TSMC and Largan are probably excluded because they've already reached agreements and signed deals.

Apple has long worked to diversify their supplier base. This would result in few orders for legacy suppliers and is not necessarily indicative of fewer phones being sold.
Yup.. thats called this mythical term "Doing business".. it's an alien concept to the average normal that one should want to push for better pricing.. right? I mean.. why NOT just pay whatever a supplier demands.. Not like this is really news.. seriously.. This is normal for ALL businesses.. They ALL look to lower costs.. Why is this even news? Other than it's a slow news day and AI needed to comment on a company doing horrible thing like 'breathing'... or 'existing'.. just shocking a tell you.

  • Apple Watch with built-in cellular data unlikely to arrive this year - report

I've yet to have a really compelling reason to have Cellular on my smartwatch.. just a battery drain, when I've always got my phone or wifi.. so it's a MEH to me if it ever comes.

I'd just disable it anyway. Like I wanna PAY MORE for a cell plan for my WATCH? umm.. no.. thanks.. I'll stick with the way it's at..

    1. Cannot exist, by definition.
    2. They’re not Europe’s hopes.
    1. Too fucking bad. The majority is not always sane.
    2. No, not by a long shot.
    1. Unless it goes in a way you don’t like, in which case it was rigged.
    2. That’s why the US is a republic, not a democracy. Because fuck mob rule.

True.. Mob rule generally doesn't work out.. just look at Social networks.. they go crazy of the stupidest things..

Twitter is a great example... a person was pissed at Twitter, intentionally started a rumor it was shutting down and it went viral. Everyone believed it, including stock markets.. its price dropped.. on a false claim everyone just took as true.. the mob rule = dumb idiots with hoods, torches, and pitchforks .. For examples search Google on Trump presidential campaign. . :p

After Microsoft let their 'Gold Key' out of freaking front door.. that just tells us 'authorized backdoors' are a joke.. might as well as just outlaw encryption ... then people will just side load encryption tools anyway and flip authorities the bird.

  • Oops: Microsoft leaks its Golden Key, unlocking Windows Secure Boot and exposing the danger of back

I get the joke, but with so many government and business systems still running (ancient?) versions of Windows your and millions of citizens' info could be compromised even if you've/they've used Apple products exclusively.
It looks to me like it only impacts Windows 8 and newer - that's when Windows Secure Boot appeared.

So, anybody in the UK getting medical tests shouldn't worry that the pathology company owned by the NHS is still running XP…
Which, btw, is even less secure.. sooo.. yeah.. great
