Until now, LED has always been 2 sheets, LED and under that the light source. Where OLED was single layer, but had more issues with accuracy. I'm not sure how it compares to OLED though other than OLED is 'organic' and has a much smaller 'lifespan' where it will have high color accuracy. Out the gate, right now, OLED can have very high accuracy, but it's known to lose that over time. Where LED is a lot less likely to wear out.

    Yeah, leaks came out in Feb 2014 for iPhone 6.. they apply for patent of that design in China April 2014.. so.. yeah.. not hard to see the correlation.

    Exactly. Why would they back it in the first place?!
    Traditionally, they would back both sides in a show of supporting the election process while not actually 'picking' a side. I think in this case though, Apple is basically saying their are lines you don't cross.. and right now, Trump has crossed many of them. Sadly, It seems most you like him, seem to treat this like they are voting for their favorite reality show host.. heh.. sad.. very sad.

    Polaris is ready for use, and Apple will pay AMD to get it first. And the 15" MBP is still on Haswell. 

    Most of the Skylake bugs are sleep state related; Apple can either program to ignore those or they've already got OS X ready to handle it. 
    Thats assuming this report is correct which I highly doubt.

    I'd put more stock in Ming-Chi Kuo and Sept/Oct release. Reason, Intel has a new revision of Skylake (fixes) called Kaby Lake due to be released any day now. Since a 4th quarter release would allow them to use Kaby Lake CPU's instead, 4th quarter makes more sense, it takes Intel time to ramp up manufacturing on the chips.
