  • TSMC reportedly sole supplier of next-gen 'iPhone 7' A-series chip

Next week, Samsung will 'intentionally' let slip that they have won the contract.. just to keep their stock price from bottoming out even more... Then a few weeks later, TSMC will contradict it.. ... and so it will go for months..

  • Wall Street adjusts Apple expectations after Tim Cook 'rips the Band-Aid off'

Is this what analysts/investors focus on? The next 3 months? Explains why that industry is so fucked, with absolutely no vision and long term agenda.
    And who's fault is that?

Did Tim Cook give us guidance for revenue for the rest of 2016?
Did he give us guidance for 2017?
Did he gives us guidance regarding what the install base will be in 3 years, 5 years, and 10 years?
Did he give us guidance for what he expects service revenue (the next growth product) to be in the next 3 years?

    NO.

Or course Wall Street only looks 3 months ahead. Because that's all Tim Cook will talk about in solid terms.  He is too secretive about the future so Wall Street does not give them any credit for the future.

This goes back to what I've been saying for YEARS.  Tim Cook has no vision. Or he does but does not articulate it clearly to Wall Street. Wall Street sees Apple simply as a hardware company. Yesterday was the first time Apple even tried to hint at services being a massive part of Apple in the future. $30 billion in services is massive for 2015. Yet I don't see a single headline talking about that. Sad.  The reason is he should have been pushing the install base/services/monitize install base theme YEARS AGO. Now it looks like a desperate move.

Stock has lost $30 billion today. Total lost is over $250 billion since last year.  We could easily see $80 stock price in a few days. All because Apple is run by a CEO who has no idea how to control the narrative of the company.

Steve Jobs did the exact same thing, worse actually. He wouldn't be doing by-backs, or provide any Dividend.. Tim Cook is doing fine.. He doesn't need vision; thats what Jonny Ive and team are for; thats their job. Any stock lost over past weeks is hardly because of Tim Cook. Most of it is the market as a whole has lost it's ass in Oil and China, so everything is moving to bonds and gold. Over 17% drop as a market whole (dragging Apple with it).. Of course, now you'll say the entire markets drop is all Tim's fault too. Grow up .. lol

  • Rumor: Apple to debut Bluetooth earbuds alongside 'iPhone 7,' with truly wireless left & right earp

Bluetooth-only iPhone makes sense only if they fixed the battery issues. Otherwise this sounds terrible.
You post this nonsense in just about every thread. Get a clue.
That was my thought as well.. I have zero issues with battery. My iPhone 6s Plus usually has 40-50% left by bed time; and this is with me listening on and off ALL DAY using Bluetooth headset I have now. .. LG has a nice pair around the neck style that I've used for a few years and upgraded over the years.

  • Catcher, other Apple suppliers report setbacks rumored to be linked to iPhone 6s production cuts

Would you mind posting a copy of your FINRA license? Otherwise... bugger off.
wow dude. Chill man. Just giving my opinion. I see $80 this year.  Just like 2014 when the stock dropped 40% from $700 to $385.
Your statement though doesn't make sense when compared to the record iPhone 6s sales reported this holiday. Every outlet reported record sales.. so how does this reflect anything but inventory adjustment? Target, Best Buy, Walmart have all reported massive Apple iPhone sales. Also, keep in mind, they don't say what they are producing for in what volumes. Apple has like 6-10 vendors per part, so a few complaining of drop-offs in production (3 so far) is a drop in the bucket. Then their is the source. DIGITIMES... The master of stock manipulation and lies.

  • Apple shares open below $100 for first time since 2014

Actually, it's the crashing Chinese stock market (2 times this week so far) that is driving down AAPL now. The rumors about the supply chain noise didn't help earlier.
Exactly! Chinese market is impacting WS badly.. Everything I have has been down every day this week. It's not just APPL. It's obvious Wall Street is very nervous in all sectors right now because of China's multiple market crashes.
