Tim Cook should be fired after ThrottleGate.

Apple should buy Tesla and make Elon CEO.

    Make Woz VP of Engineering.
Elon Musk definitely has a style of leadership similar to Steve Jobs; and also something Tim Cook falls short at; and also leaves many things desired. Secondly, I don't think people truly realized the impact Wozniak had on Apple; Jobs and Wozniak remained friends following all the terrible things that persuaded Wozniak to leave.
Believing Musk could run Apple better than Cook shows that you have no idea what you're talking about. Even with Jobs as CEO Apple couldn't have gotten to where it was without Cook.
Indeed! Elon Musk might be almost as charismatic as Jobs was, but Tesla is still working at a loss while Cook’s Apple is hugely profitable. Which is what counts in the end when it comes to a business.

  • Apple's project 'Marzipan' will let iOS apps run on the Mac in 2018 - report

A logical development I suppose. But it worries me because this will create less incentive for the developers of real Mac apps to update and improve them. We might all end up with iOS apps working in simulation mode on Macs with a significant slowdown in performance as a result.

Maybe encouraging many current Mac users to go back to Windows, where there’s no performance downgrade. What will be the point of introducing increasingly powerful Macs if the majority of apps available for it will have to work in performance compromised iOS simulation mode?

  • 2018 iPhone models to boast enhanced LTE transmission, support 4x4 MIMO

Apple seemingly sticking with 4G for the near future makes sense. In my part of the world we have official 4G networks, but download speeds still rarely surpass about 15Mb/s. Which I believe even 3G networks could achieve.

Does anyone still you ITunes other than to backup/wipe their IOS devices?
I use it all the time, primarily
    1. It's my home stereo, beaming to various airplay speakers depending on which room I'm in. (My library is on my MacBook Pro, so I can cart it around the house, or leave it and control the playback via the remote app on my phone)
    2. I sync my music to my phone and ipad, as I have very huuuge music library, and am not interested in streaming services.
    Likewise!

  • Rumor claims Apple cutting iPhone 8 production orders in half

A bit ironic that as my 8 Plus arrived today. I’m not potentially waiting another 3 or 4 months for an X.
