  • 'Piano black' and dark black Apple 'iPhone 7' test unit stickers spotted

If "dark black" is used in marketing I'll eat my hat.
Dark black is a stupid name. Black is black, there is nothing darker while light black would be grey. Just call it Space Black and be done with it, while the glossy version being called Piano Black is fine. As for me I'm going to miss Space Grey, it was my favourite Apple product colour.

  • Inside the 2016 MacBook Pro -- CPU choices

With all the hassle Apple apparently has with Intel and the fact that they for what ever reason prefer AMD's discrete GPUs over Nvidia's...why don't they just buy out AMD (a lot cheaper than Nvidia) and have instant access to that company's GPU and x86 line of CPUs, then use the expertise they've gained from their A series SoC's to improve them, and finally be fully vertically integrated in the CPU and GPU department by owning the technology.

  • 'iPhone 7' expected to continue Apple's normal naming conventions, no 'Pro' model

If this is true the iPhone 7 designation what does next year's become? If there is a 10 year phone with significant new features do they skip the S designation and go right to 8 or does the S model become the tick instead of the tock?
Next year's iPhone will most likely be called the 8. The S designation is not carved in stone. If they decide S is not relevant for 2017 they won't use it. If you count all the flagship model iPhones released since 2007, this year's new iPhone should be called the 10... 2007/iPhone 2008/2 2009/3 2010/4 2011/5 2012/6 2013/7 2014/8 2015/9 2016/10.

  • Home button on Apple's waterproof 'iPhone 7' won't click, will use haptic feedback instead - report

This is good news...if true. Apple's haptic feedback works superbly. When I first tried it out on the rMB last year. I really couldn't tell the difference between said haptic feedback on the Macbook and a 'real' click on my late 2013 rMBP.

  • Rumor: Apple's 2016 iPhone will be dubbed the 'iPhone 6SE'

That's quite ironic...a month or so ago on one of the Apple rumour sites I put forward the 6SE moniker as a possible name for the upcoming new iPhone. But then took it back thinking if Apple actually did call it that, it would be a marketing disaster! But who knows now?
