Lamenting the loss of the adorable 12-inch MacBook
I think the iPad Pro line with the massively upgraded iPad OS is a good replacement for the underpowered MacBook. It was a pretty and compact machine though.

Apple's new Mac Pro is being manufactured in China
A little disappointing and surprising. I thought as the Mac Pro is such a niche product. The increased manufacturing costs of made in the USA wouldn’t affect it that much, as its premium priced anyway. I genuinely thought they would continue to manufacture it in the States as they did the discontinued version.

Well the other human ‘icon’ of Apple is gone (leaving the firm, not dead!) paving the way for Apple to become even more of a plain grey, monolithic corporation like Microsoft or IBM. The natural progression of things I suppose...a boring Apple?
