  • M3 24-inch iMac vs M1 24-inch iMac -- Specs, price, and features, compared

Apple is missing out on a lot of potential by continuing to drag the chain in releasing a 27 (or better still a 30+) inch iMac. I have multiple people in my immediate family who would buy a 27"+ iMac, but look at the 24" and simply cannot bring themselves to buy such a small screen after having 27", 30" and 32" screens for years.

    Pity.

  • Razer Blade 16 vs Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch - compared

This is about the most useless review I have seen this year. It is like the author had guns at both sides of their head: one from Apple, another from Razor. It effectively gave no indication of an outcome in any test and made up some counter-point for every test where there was a difference.

  • Reolink Go PT Plus review: Feature packed, completely wireless security camera

No Homekit integration doesn't make the "cons" list?

Can Homebridge be setup with Reolink cameras?
I agree. How could this article basically fail to mention the biggest drawback of all. After buying an Aqara G2h to test I am now spoiled. Could not use anything else Ethan secure Homekit video. Pity the G2h is not as weatherproof as the Reolink, but still would not trust my video feeds to externals: well anymore than I have to with HomeKit secure video.

  • US senator grills Apple & Google about fraudulent crypto apps

I thought congress wanted the App Store to be a free for all.
They seem to want it both ways. Open App Store to competition but lock it down so people won’t get scammed. I assume a fine will come down with this. It’s all a way to get extra money out of big tech companies.
Whats wrong with Apple and Google just doing proper due diligence on the apps they do allow on their platforms?
The point is that one of the mechanisms for doing ongoing "due diligence" is to have a defined and controllable curation process that includes not having side-loading apps that can masquerade as legitimate apps. So its more than a little hypocritical to talk about due diligence while pushing an agenda that will make that high impossible.

It will be interesting to see what rubbish story Google weaves on how they are protecting people.

  • Businesses have stark differences of opinion on proposed anti-Big Tech bills

I am kind of surprise that small business would argue not to change anything, and that big tech is doing what is in the best interests of small business.

But it only 7000 of the more than 3 million small businesses in the US. I would suspect that 0.2% of all the small businesses do not represent the larger population. Again it is small loud minority making everyone think they represent everyone.
And 35 is just how much more representative?
