    OK, this is a bit pedantic, but just a note on readability and grammar. What the hell is with the formatting of the Headline?


    Seriously? Why is there a hyphen between Wars and themed? Is it a Star that is 'Wars themed'? Or a Wars-themed 'Today' or ...

    The hyphen should be used as a compound modifier in the appropriate place. So a '...Star-Wars-themed...' compounding might be OK; or even '...Star-Wars themed...'.

    However, an easier and more logical thing to do would be to quote, i.e.

            Apple to host ILM artists, hold Star Wars themed 'Today at Apple' workshops this week.

    OK, rant over :)

  • Australian government to ask for voluntary access to encrypted Apple data

    I am sure Apple is just quaking in its boots about the Australian Government introducing such legislation. I mean, thumbing your nose at the FBI and US Government is one thing, but to take on George Brandis and his merry morons is quite another.

    i look forward to the backlash when the government here try to ban Apple products! :) 

    the safe analogy by zimmie above above is a good one for the double standards that these governments have.

    More power to you Apple. Meanwhile, back at Google.... :(

    Hopefully Apple will give this the same treatment it gave in the US. 

    "Morally..." indeed. That is rich coming from a politician and the man who spearheaded the ruination of the Australian NBN.

    After the fiasco that that is Australia's revamped NBN (a revamp championed by Turnbull as the then Minister) no one should ever listen to this man on anything that even remotely involved technology.
