  • Facebook considers telling users enabling tracking keeps app 'free of charge'

I enjoyed Facebook back in 2008. It was clean and simple. Filled with nothing but life’s milestones; marriage, graduation, birth, etc. feed was just family and friends in chronological order.

Then they allowed gifs, links, videos. Algorithms served what Facebook wanted you to see. Became a modern day MySpace.

I keep in touch now with a blog and email newsletters.

  • Apple discussed acquisition options with EV startup Canoo in 2020

I’m still waiting for the apple branded television set.

  • Compared: 2020 iPad versus 2019 iPad and 2018 iPad

Sad they didn’t update the iPad mini same time. As a nurse and military I really appreciate it’s size and portability. Great with the kids as well since the iPad size can be cumbersome for the little ones.

  • OnePlus plus has bit into Apple in India, and things may only get worse

Well, you charge more for a product in a country where people earn less that also contains plenty of near-equal alternatives at around half the cost and your market share is naturally going to be low and dwindle.

  • 2018 iPad Pro: everything you need to know

I was excited to read that as well. A google search on other publications point out that Apple stated external storage would not work over the usb-c. I'm wondering if it would be the same thing with lightening where Apple means its not baked in but require a half-assed third party app. Apple keeps toting the iPad as a laptop replacement or as powerful as a regular computer yet allows such glaring issues to persist such as file access, storage, transfer, etc.

"This means users can connect an external 5K display, extra storage or even charge their iPhone with a USB-C to Lightning cable." Define extra storage? I cannot find anything about that on Apples Site. Looks like it can see the same external devices as before, Like cameras, keyboards and such. USB-C Hard drives and Flash drives are not mentioned.
