I wouldn't hate on the XS if it cost $650-$850 as iPhones used to cost. At $1,000-$1,300 it just feels absurd. XR is decent value at $750...but it's way too big to consider buying. Why not make a smaller XR for $650?

As an Apple investor and ecosystem user who has historically upgraded my phone every 1-2 years, I'm frustratingly not expecting to upgrade my 3 year old iPhone 7 this year because the current and anticipated line up of phones don't provide enough value. Give me a smaller phone (anything sized between a SE and iPhone 7) with current generation design and internals and at least 128GB storage for $750 or less and I'll upgrade today.

I got half way through World 1 and was kinda meh. It doesn't feel like Nintendo at it's prime. I don't see myself playing it going forward. The pay to play is also super disappointing and I think it goes against Nintendo's "honest" and "kid friendly" branding. Would much rather pay $5-$8 for the app.

Feeling the same. I'm holding on to an iPhone 7. It's nearly 3 years old. I typically upgrade every 1-2 years. But the new phones are not what I want. XR too big. XS too expensive. It's very likely I won't upgrade this cycle for the same reasons...leaving me with a nearly 4 yr old iPhone by this time next year. Disappointed. An iPhone SE sized phone with a full frontal screen (like the XR) would be something I'd easily pay $650 to buy.

As a huge Bernie supporter, I hate to see him shooting himself in the foot with these kinds of statements...too many of his supporters are employed by these companies, investors in these companies, or just plain old love the brands.
