  • iOS 13.2.3, iPadOS 13.2.3 released to fix Mail and background app issues

I’m having a surprising bug. Some sites, including Apple Insider and Ars Technica, are opening in desktop mode. MacRumors and The Verge are in the usual mobile format. In the Comments mode, however, Apple Insider has reverted to the correct mobile format. Strange. Only happening since updating my iPhone 7 to iOS 13.2.3. Anyone else affected?

  • 'iPhone SE 2' not dead, but won't be the same size as the original says Ming-Chi Kuo

Going from an SE to an 8 is a half inch taller and a third of an inch wider?  Did I figure that right?  A person should be able to adjust to that in a matter of hours.  My wife went from a 7 to an X and the difference is about the same as the difference between a 7 naked and a 7 with a standard case.  I'm thinking people are looking at screen size differences and imagining huge differences in size.
I went from an iPhone 4 to my iPhone 7 without any problems. I couldn’t imagine going back to a smaller screen now. The XR/11 are where I’d like to go next. I believe I’d adapt, just as my wife did going from her iPhone 6 to her iPhone 8 Plus.

Hmmm, when Eric Schmidt left, Google stole the iPhone. Are Disney stealing AppleTV?
Sure, that makes perfect sense. I mean, Disney only already owns The Walt Disney Studios, which includes Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Fox, Fox 2000 Pictures, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Blue Sky Studios, ABC,  Disney Channel, ESPN, Freeform, FX, and National Geographic, so they definitely would need an insider to steal intellectual property from Apple on how to set up a media company.
Ya, but even with all that they still can’t make a proper Star Wars movie. You expect them to hit the tech part of it out of the park? 😉
Rogue One might just be the best Star Wars  of all - IMHO, of course. I’ve watched it at least three times and enjoyed it each time. And the final trilogy has been very good so far. Solo was as ‘dull as dishwater’, unfortunately. I have high hopes for the finale. I’m old enough to have lived through all the fuss around the original trilogy. Overall I think I’ve watched each of them three or four times but none of them makes for compelling viewing anymore. Sadly, the prequel trilogy was largely dull and uninteresting! Again, in my humble opinion. Your mileage may vary, naturally. (I’ve no desire to offend anyone, as I’ve merely expressed a personal opinion. Please don’t let this affect your day!)

    “Install now” - greyed out

“iPhone will try to install this update later tonight”
Is your iPhone plugged in? Or does it have at least 50% battery? Is it on WiFi?

Always on Apple Watch is a deal maker for me, as I was holding out for this... I think Series 5 will outsell expectations... Now the harder choice is stainless steel or titanium... price is very close.
And they’ve doubled the capacity to 32 GB, too. Nice.
