I’m curious to see how this pans out. The Irish government has consistently stated that Apple did not get a special tax deal (the same terms & arrangements were available to other businesses — and were transparently so) and that Apple paid all relevant taxes over the years. If there are no more grounds for appeal then the €13 billion should go to the Irish government. However, other EU governments have expressed interest in the portion of that tax which relates to purchases made in those countries. Interesting times ahead!

I’m hopeful that it’ll allow for some truly unique slides for my Keynote presentations. I spend far too long searching in Safari for something close to what I require — almost every time. 

The phrase ‘a thin band of North America, Canada, Mexico’ in the first sentence doesn’t make sense. Perhaps, ‘a thin band of North America (Mexico, the United States and Canada)’ or ‘a thin band of Mexico, the United States and Canada’?

Users have no idea what you're talking about when you say Apple ID, they don't know that it's an email address, they don't know that it's the same thing they use for iCloud, they're confused as to what iCloud is, and they definitely don't know how to remove devices they're selling/giving away from it.

I don't know what the fix is, but a simple rename isn't going to help.

I’ve dealt with many family members and friends who confuse their Apple ID with their password. This might help some of them, don’t you think?
