  • DOJ asks appeals court to pause enforcement of Qualcomm antitrust ruling

I hope Tim Cook authorizes Apple to buy everything Intel is selling ASAP!

  • Apple spent nearly $15M per episode on Apple TV+ show 'See,' report says

The seemingly open-wallet policies of companies new to the industry contrast a rumored tightening of pursestrings at Netflix. With a multi-year head start, mature serial properties and experience in original content production, Netflix can afford to titrate spending. New arrivals like Apple, however, need to make a splash when their respective services launch later this year.

Earlier this year AppleInsider and others couldn’t print enough about how little Apple was spending compared to Netflix. Now that Netflix is cutting back on spending large sums of money, AppleInsider prints the above.

  • Health Canada tells users to ask Apple when they'll get the Watch ECG app

It never fails to astound me how people want what they want right now. So far ECG functionality has been A-Class. All it will take for class action lawsuits to get filed is one mistake. One. All the people impatiently waiting would immediately be glad they had not gotten the functionality and wouldn’t hesitate to criticize Apple for not being the best it could have been if it had waited a bit longer to release ECG functionality. Health Canada should be held accountable for its actions of directing queries to Apple instead of just answering questions. Health Canada’s association with Apple ECG functionality will only last as long as the functionality works. If the functionality fails, Health Canada won’t know how to spell Apple.

  • Judge denies Qualcomm request to stay FTC antitrust ruling enforcement

    mobird said:
So how does this affect the recent kumbaya agreement between Apple and Qualcomm? Does that have to be re-written or is it locked in as written?
This will put a damper on the Qualcomm 4th of July company picnic... ;)
I don’t think Apple will try to get a better deal only because I think Apple got a really good deal that nobody is admitting. I do think Apple will try to buy all of Intel’s 3G/4G/5G patents and with its binding contractual agreement with the Qualcomm, Apple’s 5G modem will be ironclad protected from any patent infringement lawsuits for many years to come.

  • HomePod 'Hey Siri' responses to AirPods ad prompts complaints

What I find funny is AppleInsider choosing not to skip any opportunity whatsoever to present some kind of negativity.
